Recipe: Rum & White Chocolate Caramel Sundaes — Recipes from The Kitchn

One of my husband's longstanding baseball traditions is to eat a cup of ice cream at every ballpark we visit — not just because he loves ice cream, which he most certainly does, but also because he wants to collect a plastic helmet cup from every major and minor league team in existence.

Does ice cream really taste better when served in a plastic baseball helmet? I can't make the ultimate judgment call on that, but I can confirm that even the most basic scoop of vanilla tastes fantastic when drizzled with homemade white chocolate caramel sauce.

7 Planted Centerpieces for Your Table — Set the Table

I love having flowers on the table when I'm hosting friends for dinner, but during the summer, the heat makes it so our cut flowers don't last more than a couple of days before wilting in the heat. That's why I love planted centerpieces for our summer dinner parties instead. Luckily, we have a plant-filled apartment and can just repurpose a few succulents to serve as table decoration.

Summer is the easiest time to entertain. When it's warm out and everyone is just happy to just be outside, with a cold drink in hand, you can get away with setting out an assortment of easy dishes. A caprese salad, slices of crusty baguette, a bowl of fresh berries — you're all set.

Some sort of dip with potato chips is also always a hit. This one, with caramelized onions, crispy bacon, and funky blue cheese, would be a welcome sight at any summer shindig.

The 5 Vegetarian Meals You’ll See at Weddings — Wedding Woes

As a vegetarian, I'm fully ready to admit that my least favorite part of most every wedding I've been to is the food. While there have been a few memorable exceptions (and I freely acknowledge how ungrateful I sound), most of the vegetarian options I've had have been lackluster or obviously put together as an afterthought.

In the end, it doesn't matter that much because eating cake, dancing, and celebrating with friends and family are more important. But it does always make me a little sad to compare what's on my plate with the rest of my tablemates when the meal is served. The vegetarian option usually falls into one of these five categories.

Welcome to the Nick Offerman Pizza Farm — Food News

If it grows on a tree, it's healthy, right? That's the driving force behind the new video from Nick Offerman on Funny or Die.

The gruff comedian stars as a farmer who grows pizza, taquitos, french fries, and fish sticks on trees, and harvests sloppy joes from the ground like potatoes.
