One of my favorite things about Trader Joe's — besides the prices, of course — is that I'm always finding new things that make meals so much easier. I've already written about their super-smart açaí packets that make breakfast smoothies better, and then this past weekend I discovered this crispbread that makes the most magical lunches (just add crème fraîche and smoked salmon — also from Trader Joe's.)

There are so many things to look at and choose from, it's easy to get lost in the grocery aisles. That's why it's always good to have some sense of what you're getting — or what's worth it — before you go. American adults' love for alcohol has grown over the past 10 years, a new study finds. The study, published earlier this month in JAMA Psychiatry, found more Americans are partaking in dangerous drinking habits. Renowned TV personality Julia Child is known for her cookbooks, delicious recipes for French food, and her talents as a chef. But a lesser known fact about the culinary legend's life is that she was a spy. Specifically, Child was an agent for a World War II-era intelligence agency called the OSS (Office of Strategic Services), which preceded the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Yeah, she was kind of a badass.

Now, both parts of her professional life are coming to the silver screen in a fictional television series.


These Are the Countries That Drink the Most To-Go Coffee — Food News

Coffee consumption is on the rise around the world. In fact, the demand for coffee is being attributed to two factors: millennials are chugging more java and more countries are adopting a caffeine fix.

"Coffee demand is robust and growing at about 1.5 percent per annum," Carlos Mera Arzeno, a commodities analyst with Rabobank International in London, tells The Washington Post.

But not all countries consume coffee equally. Research from NPD and CREST has found interesting trends about coffee intake around the globe.
