If you're a frequent shopper of the Starbucks online store, then I have some bad news for you. The coffee franchise's e-store — which sells everything from mugs, coffee brewers, and espresso makers to coffee, tea, and beverage syrups — is closing its doors forever as of October 1.

But it's not all bad news: The shutdown means there will be an unprecedented clearance sale online.

Americans Are Drinking More Alcohol and It’s a “Public Health Crisis” — Food News

American adults' love for alcohol has grown over the past 10 years, a new study finds. The study, published earlier this month in JAMA Psychiatry, found more Americans are partaking in dangerous drinking habits. This phenomenon is seen across the board for adults in the U.S., but especially amongst women whose drinking habits are up by 58 percent. The study calls it "a public health crisis."

Coffee consumption is on the rise around the world. In fact, the demand for coffee is being attributed to two factors: millennials are chugging more java and more countries are adopting a caffeine fix.

"Coffee demand is robust and growing at about 1.5 percent per annum," Carlos Mera Arzeno, a commodities analyst with Rabobank International in London, tells The Washington Post.

But not all countries consume coffee equally. Research from NPD and CREST has found interesting trends about coffee intake around the globe.
